La Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine de Handball est fi\u00e8re de mettre en lumi\u00e8re une nouvelle reconnaissance exceptionnelle pour l\u2019un des talents issus de notre territoire : Lylou Borg, form\u00e9e \u00e0 M\u00e9rignac Handball, fait partie des trois joueuses nomm\u00e9es pour le titre de Meilleure Jeune Joueuse du Monde 2024, d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par l’IHF (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Handball).<\/p>

Un parcours remarquable vers l’\u00e9lite mondiale<\/strong><\/p>

\u00c0 seulement 19 ans, Lylou Borg confirme son ascension fulgurante sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. Apr\u00e8s avoir brill\u00e9 lors du Championnat du Monde Jeunes en 2022, elle a franchi un cap en 2024 en \u00e9tant l’une des joueuses cl\u00e9s de l’\u00e9quipe de France junior, sacr\u00e9e championne du monde sans conc\u00e9der la moindre d\u00e9faite.<\/p>

Son incroyable r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 et son influence dans le jeu lui ont valu d’\u00eatre \u00e9lue MVP du Championnat du Monde Junior 2024, consolidant son statut de future r\u00e9f\u00e9rence mondiale au poste de demi-centre. Fille de l\u2019ancienne internationale Myriam Borg-Korfanty, Lylou incarne d\u00e9j\u00e0 la rel\u00e8ve du handball tricolore et vient tout juste d\u2019\u00eatre appel\u00e9e en \u00e9quipe de France A pour disputer ses premiers matchs officiels face \u00e0 l\u2019Allemagne d\u00e9but mars.<\/p>

Une r\u00e9compense prestigieuse, reflet d\u2019une ann\u00e9e exceptionnelle<\/strong><\/p>

Le titre de Meilleure Jeune Joueuse du Monde (IHF Young Female Player of the Year) r\u00e9compense la joueuse la plus marquante de l\u2019ann\u00e9e parmi les moins de 23 ans, selon un processus de vote partag\u00e9 entre : Les fans, les coachs des \u00e9quipes nationales pr\u00e9sentes aux Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024, ainsi que la Commission des Entra\u00eeneurs et M\u00e9thodes de l’IHF.<\/p>

Pour cette \u00e9dition 2024, Lylou Borg partage cette prestigieuse nomination avec :
\ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 L\u00e9na Grandveau (France), laur\u00e9ate 2023 du m\u00eame titre,
\ud83c\udded\ud83c\uddfa Petra Simon (Hongrie), r\u00e9v\u00e9lation olympique et m\u00e9daill\u00e9e de bronze \u00e0 l\u2019Euro 2024.<\/p>
